A Faith That Is Tested

Greetings. On this “hump” day, Wednesday, let us focus on Jesus and His plans for us.

At times, fear will surround us, and unexpected storms will test our faith. These challenges are meant to strengthen our trust in Jesus and ourselves.

Matthew 14:28–30 (MSG)

28 Peter, suddenly bold, said, “Master, if it’s really you, call me to come to you on the water.”

29 He said, “Come ahead.” Jumping out of the boat, Peter walked on the water to Jesus.

30 But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. He cried, “Master, save me!”

Lesson: A faith that is tested becomes steadfast. Today, choose to boldly step forward in faith, even when storms arise. Trust that Jesus is with you, keep your eyes on Him, and move confidently into the days ahead.
