Greetings to all. Let us embrace the important work before us and not overlook its significance.
Without studying and daily devotion, it can be challenging to be entirely devoted to the work of public service and the other works we are hired, called, and gifted to do.
1 Timothy 4:14–16 (GW)
14 Don’t neglect the gift you received through prophecy when the spiritual leaders placed their hands on you ⸤to ordain you⸥.
15 Practice these things. Devote your life to them so that everyone can see your progress.
16 Focus on your life and your teaching. Continue to do what I’ve told you. If you do this, you will save yourself and those who hear you.
Lesson: We must not neglect the gifts God blesses each of us with. Using our gifts may be slow as we learn, but two things happen even if we progress slowly. Not only can we save ourselves, but we can also help others be saved. And we are examples for others when they see our progress.
