Greetings to all. As we end the week, let us rejoice in God's sovereignty.

In day-to-day life, it can seem that our lives and the rewards for our labor are in the hands of those who care least about us. We do not have to worry about the critiques and rewards set by men. In our world, most leaders are hired or chosen not for their good morals, but for how much they will accept for pay. But God, in His sovereignty, is neither hired nor paid. Yet, He judges wisely; wisdom and rewards come justly from him.

Psalm 75:6–7 (KJV 1900)

6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

7 But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Lesson: Although others may decide the reward for what we do, work with a good attitude and trust God’s timing. Our rewards and promotions come from God.
