The Work Of A Servant

Greetings to all; as God's servants, as we begin this new week, let us pray that the work of our hands is successful and productive.

Because we can misunderstand the lack of acknowledgment of our work as being unappreciated, we often waste time thinking our work is not worthy or unappreciated. As long as we look to God and know that we have the favor of God, our work can be fruitful and productive.

Psalm 90:17 (NRSV)

17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands— O prosper the work of our hands!

Lesson: In life, we may not be able to do all we want, and we cannot expect everything we do to be significant. However, for our work to succeed, we should remember to put God first. God takes pleasure in prospering the work of His servant's hand.
