The Mirror of God's Word

Greetings to all. This Sunday, as we gather, may God’s word reflect and reveal who we truly are in Him; and let us allow it to transform our lives.

When we look into the mirror of God’s word, we are not just reading; we are seeing. God's word becomes a mirror that reveals truth, corrects what is hidden, and reminds us of

who we are in Christ.

James 1:23–25a (NCV)

23Those who hear God’s teaching and do nothing are like people who look at themselves in a mirror.

24They see their faces and then go away and quickly forget what they looked like.

25But the truly happy people are those who carefully study God’s perfect law that makes people free, and they continue to study it.

Lesson: The mirror of God’s word doesn’t show us our flaws to condemn or shame us; it shows us our identity to restore us. So, let us allow God’s reflection to be our direction.
