Steeped in Faith

Greetings to all. This Sunday, let us stand strong in faith, finding strength through life's hot water situations.

Tea requires hot water to bring out its flavor and strength. But when we are in hot water, we need comfort or counsel. We benefit from being like tea steepers, not tea dunkers. Those who model their Bible reading after tea-dunkers don't get enough to last or sustain them, but by steeping like tea in hot water, we become strong, strengthened by God’s strength, clarity, and understanding.

13 Be alert. Be firm in the Christian faith. Be courageous and strong.

Lesson: When life feels hard, and the water is too hot, you want to quit; don't be shaken or let yourself be pulled away. Be strong, be courageous, and stand steadfast in your faith. God is with you!
