Greetings to all. On this hump day, Wednesday, let us remember how special it is to be in the presence of God.
Life is short, and as we go through it, there are moments when we need to let go of our past so we can follow God’s plan for us. To know what to let go of, we need to listen for God’s guidance, just as Moses did at the burning bush.
Exodus 3:5 (NKJV)
5 Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”
Lesson: For Moses, taking off his sandals was important. The sandals represented the places and experiences from his past. By removing them, Moses showed respect and humility in God’s presence. As Christians, everywhere we stand is holy ground.
