See the Goodness

Greetings to all. As we start this new week, let us not allow the burdens of life to cloud our perception of its goodness.

When trouble seemed to be abundant, how often have you said, "Lord, you cannot come soon enough!" While we long to be with Jesus in paradise one day, God wants us to recognize the goodness in our lives here and now. His blessings are not distant; they are immediate. We do not have to wait until after death.

Psalm 27:13 (NRSV)

13 I shall see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Lesson: We do face challenges in life. However, God invites us to pause to see and embrace His abundant goodness and blessings that surround us in the present moment. His goodness is not in short supply; it is plentiful.
