Seasoned Salty Christians

Greetings to all. This Sunday, if you try to avoid being salty, do not. Let us be seasoned salty Christians today.

In case you need help to relate to the seasoned salty Christian title, salt is a seasoning. Jesus refers to those who choose to follow Him as the salt of the earth. Therefore, if we want to influence and impact the world, we must refrain from sugarcoating God's word and be the salt.

Matthew 5:13 (NIV)

13 "You are the salt of the earth. But how can the salt be made salty again if it loses saltiness? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

Lesson: Remember, as believers, we influence and impact the world as long as we remain faithful to our calling as salty Christians. However, we must be mindful that, as salt, losing our savor lessens our worth and ability to fulfill our divine mandate as the world's salt.
