Rise Up And Pray

Greetings to all; this weekend, let us not allow Satan's schemes and strategies to limit our prayers.

Our seasons of grief and sorrow, or our desire to spend time with God by praying, will cause us to sleep on God. However, the better will come when we push through even when times are dark and we feel we cannot.

Luke 22:45–46 (MSG)

45 He got up from prayer, returned to the disciples, and found them asleep, drugged by grief.

46 He said, "What business do you have sleeping? Get up. Pray so you won't give in to temptation."

Lesson: The enemy uses the desire to sleep in our grief or whatever activities to stop us from spending time with God. He does not want us to pray because he knows our prayers will limit him. Resist the temptation to succumb to His schemes. Instead, let us rise up and pray.
