Prisoners of Sin

Greetings to all. As we gather each Sunday, let us focus our worship and praise on God's promises, not our achievements.

Given that sin has invaded our world, it is vital that we anchor ourselves in God's unchanging promises rather than valuing our worth based on our achievements. Sin can entrap us when we fixate on our own performances instead of the steadfast promises of God, which bring us true freedom.

Galatians 3:22 (GW)

22 But Scripture states that the power of sin controls the whole world. Therefore, a promise based on faith in Jesus Christ could be given to those who believe. 

Lesson: While we all struggle with sin, we can take steps to avoid being trapped by it. We must remember God keeps His promises. Because God's promises stand and are better than the law, let us focus on deepening our faith in His love, grace, and guidance. Trust God's promises and be set free.
