Our Profession is Not Enough

Greetings to all. This Sunday, let us choose to align our lives with the words of God that we hear.

It is dangerous for us to give only lip service to God’s word. It is easy to confuse knowing the truth with living the truth. Each of us must actively choose to align our speech and our lives with God's teachings; by doing so, we build a life that can withstand any circumstance.

Luke 6:46–47 (GW)

46“Why do you call me Lord but don’t do what I tell you? 

47“I will show you what everyone who comes to me, hears what I say, and obeys it is like.

Lesson: As believers, our obedience to God’s teachings should be evident and strong. Empty words and absent deeds mean nothing to the Lord.
