Holiness Not Happiness

Greetings to all; as we worship this Sunday, let us focus on our holiness.

No one wants to be unhappy. While many scriptures talk about happiness, as we gather to worship this Sunday, may we focus on striving for God's plan and purpose for holiness. Let us approach this time with pure hearts and minds, seeking to honor and glorify the one we worship.

2 Timothy 1:9 (GW)

9 God saved us and called us to be holy, not because of what we had done, but because of his plan and kindness. Before the world began, God planned that Christ Jesus would show us God's kindness.

Lesson: Prayerfully, this is a peaceful Sunday that allows us to turn our attention not to be happy but to the pursuit of holiness. Let us become better versions of ourselves and honor and glorify God.
