"Here I Am"

Greetings to all; as we progress through life, we must strive to be an example to and for others.

Unlike God, who holds out His welcoming hands, we do not avail ourselves to or for those we perceive are not interested in us. God shows steadfast love for us even when we are not seeking or living for Him. Daily, He says, “Here I am.”

Isaiah 65:1–2 (GW)

1 I was ready to answer those who didn’t ask.  I was found by those who weren’t looking for me.  I said, “Here I am! Here I am!”  to a nation that didn’t worship me. 

2 I stretched out my hands all day long to stubborn people.  They chose to go in the wrong direction. They followed their own plans. 

Lesson: It can be challenging to be there for someone when they do not want us to be for them or with them. Thankfully, with His Sovereign grace and stretched-out hands, God welcomes all to come to Him and follow Him.
