Finding Our Hope

Greetings to all; as we end this week, let us keep our hope in God, our only source of true hope.

We can be let down when we put our hope in anything or anyone other than God. If you feel weary, restless, unprotected, or hopeless, know God is your only true hope. We may have to wait, but God gives us the power to wait on Him.

Psalm 62:5–6 (GW)

5 Wait calmly for God alone, my soul, because my hope comes from him. 

6 He alone is my rock and my savior—my stronghold.  I cannot be shaken. 

Lesson: Our hope can be found in the Lord. When we feel like we have no one who can fix or solve our problems, remember we always have God. We may face painful and unbearable circumstances, but trust in God. We can always trust God; He is always available and greater and our divine refuge.
