Feed the Right Thing

Greetings to all. As we attempt to rest this weekend, may the things we fed or focused on this week not consume or devour us.

There is a saying: "The animal we feed is the animal that grows." This feeding highlights how we often nurture sin unknowingly. We overlook more minor sins, seeing them as harmless until they lead to unexpected consequences. In reality, no sin is truly small or harmless.

1 Corinthians 3:1–2 (NCV)

1 Brothers and sisters, I could not talk to you in the past as I talk to spiritual people. I had to speak to you as I would to people without the Spirit—babies in Christ.

2 The teaching I gave you was like milk, not solid food, because you were not able to take solid food. And even now, you are not ready.

Lesson: Because sin disguises itself as harmless, we can easily be deceived into fostering a relationship that causes us to fail to recognize it for what it is and its potential threat.
