Dying To Live

Greetings to all; on this "grateful" Thursday, may we recognize and understand God's plan for our ultimate gain.

There are not many people who do not want to gain or achieve in life. It is natural for us to yearn and desire much in life. However, we often need to put things in order. Because our perspective of what it is to gain differs from Heaven's view, we miss out.

John 12:24–25 (GW)

24 I can guarantee this truth: A single grain of wheat does not produce anything unless it is planted in the ground and dies. If it dies, it will produce a lot of grain.

25 Those who love their lives will destroy them, and those who hate their lives in this world will guard them for everlasting life.

Lesson: Dying to live as Christians, Christ means everything to us. Our deepest desire and hope is to know and honor Him so that we will have even more when we die.
