Different Not Better

Greetings to all as we begin a new week. Let us look around, notice each other, and walk humbly.

Feeling that we do not measure up can be a lowly and lonely walk. This week, let us enter every room with our heads up and with confidence. The enemy desires that we allow pride and our past sins to make us feel we do not measure up.

1 Peter 1:14–15 (GW)

14 Because you are children who obey God, don’t live the kind of lives you once lived. Once, you lived to satisfy your desires because you didn’t know any better.

15 But because the God who called you is holy, you must be holy in every aspect of your life.

Lesson: We must live our lives deliberately, understanding that God calls us to live holy and separate lives. While holiness demands separation, please do not allow the pride of thinking we are better to hinder us from walking humbly.
