Confidence in the Lord

Greetings to all. As we approach midweek, let us remain confident in the Lord.

Living in a world that can be darker than we want makes confidence essential. When we face trouble, disappointment, and disloyalty, we often place our confidence in our circumstances and others rather than in ourselves. The best confidence we can have is in the Lord, our light and salvation.

Psalm 27:1 (GW)

1The LORD is my light and my salvation. Who is there to fear? The LORD is my life’s fortress.  Who can I fear? 

Lesson: One sure thing in life is that when life feels dark and challenging, we can rest in God's presence. We don't need to rely on our strength. To feel safe and see with clarity, it's a good time to refocus our confidence on the Lord.
