Be A Doer

Greetings to all; this weekend, let us make the most of our time instead of talking about what we have heard about God's word. Let us be doers of His word.

It can sometimes be easier to talk about things rather than do them. As followers of Christianity, our dutiful obedience to God's word and work is every day. We must always dig deeper and strive to continue studying and understanding God's teachings.

James 1:22,25 (NCV)

22 Do what God's teaching says; when you only listen and do nothing, you are fooling yourselves.

25 But happy people carefully study God's perfect law that makes people free and continue studying it. They do not forget what they heard, but they obey what God's teaching says. Those who do this will be made happy.

Lesson: Christians must seek God's guidance and strength to act on his teachings. Our journey to understanding and fulfilling his work is ongoing.
