Greetings to all. This Sunday, as we worship, let us take a moment to savor and appreciate the privilege of being included in the feast at the King's table.
It is an honor to be invited into the presence of a King. However, as children of God, we serve the King, Jesus, who surpasses any earthly ruler in greatness and majesty. The word tells us our gifts will make room for us and put us before great men. (Proverbs 18:16).
2 Samuel 9:3 (NCV)
3 The King asked, "Is anyone left in Saul's family? I want to show God's kindness to that person." Ziba answered the King, "Jonathan has a son still living who is crippled on both feet."
Lesson: Our unique talents and abilities can create opportunities for us. But God has gifted us in unique ways to show His love. It is essential to recognize that what others have done, our vulnerabilities and limitations, do not disqualify us from taking a place at our heavenly King's table.
